Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport and Transfer to Akagera National Park
On this day upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will meet and greet you. Depending on the time you arrive, our guide will take you to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial a place of rest for the thousands of people that lost their lives during the Rwanda genocide of 1994. Paying tribute is a beautiful way of respects. The drive to the park takes approximately 2 hours drive to the national park arriving for dinner and staying overnight at

Day 2: Game Drives and Boat Cruise on Lake Ihema
We will have a morning breakfast after which we will transfer to the park in search of early morning risers. This is a busy time in the world as most animals come out to graze while others do come to hunt. Expect to see zebras, giraffes, African elephants, African buffalos, rhinos, waterbucks, bushbucks and birds of several species. Return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise along Lake Ihema, during which you will see hippos, crocodiles and birds and a variety of reptiles along the banks of the river returning for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 3: Departure
You will have breakfast after which transfer to the Kigali International Airport for your international flight back home.
